Quantification of indemnity

A basic indemnity is awarded in any case for the sole fact of the delay, regardless of any evidence of effective equity damage.

The amount generally awarded is about € 600,00 for every year the suit is prolonged beyond the term indicated above (non-equity damage); repayment will be limited to the value of the suit. If the plaintiff is able to demonstrate a subjective economic prejudice (equity damage), this can be liquidated in addition to the basic indemnity described above.
